Point. Scan.
Know what
it’s worth.

Hold your camera over a cover. ComicFrame names the issue, then shows every printing with its own price — first print, reprint, facsimile, variant cover — because that difference is the price.

Free to try. No account needed to scan.

Built for shelves
nobody has catalogued.

Typing issue numbers is why most collections never get logged. Point the camera instead.

Recognised from the art

No barcode, no typing. The cover itself is the lookup key, so pre-barcode books from the forties work exactly like last week’s release.

Every printing, priced apart

First print, later printing, facsimile and variant covers are separate books with separate markets. ComicFrame shows them side by side instead of averaging them into one wrong number.

Raw and slabbed

Switch between an ungraded copy and the CGC ladder. The gap between a 9.8 and a 9.4 is often larger than the price of the book itself.

A shelf that values itself

Every issue you keep feeds one running total, with a chart behind it. You find out what the boxes in the garage are worth without opening a spreadsheet.

Condition changes the number

Pick the grade you actually own and the price follows it. A ladder, not a single optimistic figure.

Works on a bad connection

Requests are compressed and time-limited, and the app says plainly when the line is the problem rather than pretending the book is unknown.

Three steps, no typing.

From a stack on the table to a valued collection.

Point the camera

Hold a comic in frame. Recognition runs continuously — you do not press a shutter or line anything up.

Pick your printing

If the issue has more than one edition, they appear with their prices. Choose the one on your shelf.

Keep it

Add it to a collection with its grade. The total updates, and the chart remembers where it started.

What it looks like.

Scan, track, compare, spot.

Scanning a comic cover; the value appears above it in real time. Collection screen with total portfolio value and a chart of how it changed. Editions of one issue side by side, each with its own price, above the CGC grade ladder. Issue detail showing market price, year, issue number and prices by condition.

Questions.

Does it need a barcode?

No. Recognition works from the cover art, so books printed long before barcodes existed are identified the same way as current releases.

Why does one issue show several different prices?

Because it is several different books. A first print, a later printing and a facsimile share the same cover art and almost nothing else — mixing them into one average is the most common way a collection gets valued wrong.

Does it handle graded copies?

Yes. You can switch between a raw copy and the CGC ladder, and the price follows the grade you pick rather than showing one figure for every condition.

Do I need an account?

Not to scan. A collection is stored so it survives reinstalling the app, but nothing stops you from opening the camera and checking a book straight away.

Which platforms?

iOS and Android.
